St. Thomas Day School
This is the 50th year of providing pre-school education at St. Thomas Episcopal Day School. We were founded in 1958 by Parishioner Anne Woodham who served as our first Director. Initially the school began with 17 children. We now have 81 students enrolled in the program which includes one kindergarten class, one four year- old class, one Four-In The Fall class, one five-day-a-week three year- old class, one three-day-a-week three year-old class( Monday, Wednesday & Friday) and one two year -old class, which meets on Tuesday and Thursday.
Our Day School Director is Nancy Benson. She has been with the Day School for 20 years.

We have combined many curriculums in order to enhance our program. We use ABecka, Explode the Code and MacMilan as written curriculum. We use many other educational resources such as the Internet, Educational articles and continuing Educational classes offered through the State of
The purpose of the St. Thomas Episcopal Day School is to provide a pre-school program, founded and operated on Christian principles that can ease the transition between home and school. We provide activities that are geared to the needs of 2,3,4 and 5 year old’s and concentrate on helping each child develop intellectually, emotionally, spiritually, socially and physically.
