Just Imagine, St Thomas looking towards the future!

Dear St. Thomas Parishioners,

Many of us spent several weeks in the Just Imagine Team meetings trying to determine what God has called us to do and what our hopes for St Thomas ‘ future are. The sessions ended with an all day retreat on August18th. After prayerful consideration, those of us who were able to attend divided into groups based on the areas of Leadership, Worship, Financial Management, Buildings and Grounds, Outreach, Christian Education, Fellowship and Pastoral Care, and Evangelism. Each of these eight areas of concentration contains ministries that you have considered important and are overseen by members of the vestry.

Please contact the church office for a list of the detailed recommendations of each of these groups set up in a time line. They are broken down into things we know we will need to do immediately and others that we hope to accomplish in the future. These lists are a work in progress and call for the ideas and participation of each one of us. As you read over this material, please contemplate how you would like to be involved. God has blessed us with love for each other, faithfulness and energy. Everyone’s talents are needed.
